Ioanna brings extensive administrative expertise and experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments to this role. She represents the CEO to clients and partners, and orchestrates the CEO’s schedule to balance the extreme time demands with client needs and Nyhus firm priorities. Ioanna is gatekeeper, traffic controller and intermediary for one the industry’s most dynamic and creative and busy entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining Nyhus, Ioanna was the campaign schedule for Rob McKenna during his 2011-2012 campaign for Governor of Washington state, and served in the same critical role for Peter Steinbrueck during his 2013 Seattle mayoral campaign. She was a successful restaurant manager for six years before that, during which time she also served in the Election Day operations for the Washington State Republican Party in 2008. Ioanna has also worked as a paralegal and state legislative assistant.

Ioanna is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a degree in political science. She is also a sommelier with an advanced program diploma from the International Sommelier Guild. Ioanna has lived in both Greece and the United States. She graduated from high school in Athens and speaks fluent Greek. Her interests include yoga, traveling and gourmet cooking with her husband as well as being lazy with her pug, Pumba.
