With scenic beaches and year-round surfing, Westport has the opportunity to become Western Washington’s top coastal travel destination. Its proximity to large population centers, sweeping natural beauty and abundant activities make Westport the go-to destination for travelers from Portland, OR to Vancouver, BC. Nyhus partnered with Westport to dramatically improve awareness and drive tourism to the nearby coastal community.

Challenge

To increase much-needed tourism activity of this nearby coastal destination, Nyhus developed and executed a comprehensive integrated communications campaign, including redeveloping the city’s website, launching a proactive public relations program and introducing a sustained digital marketing/social campaign.

Results

  • Through an omnichannel marketing campaign, Nyhus raised awareness about the vacation opportunities in Westport and revitalized the City’s brand.
