Welcome, Kristine Danzinger, our new operations manager! Kristine joined the Nyhus team as a temp three years ago and we couldn’t be more pleased to have her become a permanent member of the team. Keep reading to learn more about this well-traveled music lover!

What will your new role at Nyhus include?

My goal is to have things running smoothly in the background, so the team can focus on the magic they do. This will include managing our vendor relationships, honing systems to better support our work, assisting in the hiring and on-boarding of new staff, and facilitating team building and staff development.

What do you bring to Nyhus?

My skill set has been likened to a Swiss Army knife – I can creatively apply different tools depending on what the situation warrants (e.g. group facilitation, project management, research, session design, coaching and creating templates and protocols).

What’s the best part about your new job so far?

The team – they are smart, driven, creative and fun. I’m very excited to now be one of them!

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy almost anything to do with music. Currently I’m in two choirs, a ukulele group, play piano for groups, and like to go out dancing. As the weather warms up, I will bike to work and go hiking and kayaking to fully take advantage of living in the gorgeous Pacific NW.

What’s one thing about you that would surprise me?

I have traveled to 22 countries and performed in eight of them. I also have a motorcycle license.
